Elettrozinco: pickling alluminium

Aluminium is naturally covered by an alumina (aluminium oxide) film.

This might be lost due to various reasons: welding, hot stamping, and others, leading to the loss of its natural passivated state. Using our baths, specifically made for pickling/passivation of aluminium alloys, we are able to provide a special treatment that will restore the materials to their best condition.

Thanks to pickling you will get a uniform appearance and you will remove all the contaminants and oxides. When welding, the material obtained is both aesthetically and technically ready for the market.

It is crucial to remember that, before pickling and passivating, the material has to go through a degreasing process, to accurately clean the surface and remove all contaminations.
